TRANS> PROJECTS compiles every other kind of opening, gathering and off site artistic comission which began in 1993 with the launch of the non-profit organization in a carnival party in NYC. Some of these events take place in public spheres and others in collaboration with institutions such as Walker Art Center, Festival of Vienna or Venice Biennal. To this day, they are conceived to negotiate cultural production emergencies.
